Verde Auction Service was established in 1969 by my dad Johnny Green. After he retired in 2005, Ellis Yates and Co. was brought on board, adding a much needed element. Just recently we brought in our sons Tyson, Chad and Zane into the company, making this a 3rd Generation business.

We're based out of Cortez, Colorado and serve Montezuma County along with the surrounding communities.

We work hard to make your auction a success. We've seen it happen so many times when people try to go it alone and fail at yard sales and advertising through the classifieds or social media. They end up working hard for little reward, haggling with every item, and have a lot leftover after that they don't know what to do with.

When you contact us, we'll see what your needs are and how best to help you. We need a signed contract 4 weeks prior to the sale to get our marketing efforts and team into place. Once the contract is signed you can leave town if needed and we will take care of the rest.

All our auctions begin with the pledge of allegiance, and most auctions happen directly at your site. We will bundle items as needed, and have professional auctioneers to get the crowd excited and bidding.

We have an extensive list we market to, and we make sure that all items sell.
